Founder and Chairperson
Tracey is a highly creative artist who is passionate about nurturing and encouraging others in exploring their own creativity. She founded Vir2oso to give children and young people a platform to experience and develop their creative skills.
Amanda has run her own business for four years and has a passion for sewing, particularly patchwork, making teddies and dressmaking. “Vir2oso gives me a chance to give something back to my community whilst exploring my creative passions.”
Jo is the Secretary for Vir2oso, she is also a family worker for St Neots Locality Team. “It’s been an exciting opportunity to be involved with Vir2oso and I’m looking forward to being more involved with our amazing community projects.”
Emma is a mum, a wife and a primary school teacher. “I love being part of Vir2oso – it is great fun. I am beginning to develop my own art and creative skills through my involvement too.”
A dedicated mum of two, Jo also works part time and being part of the Vir2oso project has given her me new opportunities, the chance to make new friends, but most of all watching it grow and make a difference has been something very special.
Louise is a stay at home mum with a love of all things crafty. She likes to knit, crochet and sew, and goes to local craft events to show of her work. “Being part of the vir2oso team has been inspiring and my daughter has loved getting stuck in as well.”
Beth has just completed a course in journalism. She got involved with Vir2oso straight away and it has reignited her passion to go into teaching and so will be starting a teaching assistant apprenticeship this year. “Not only has Vir2oso opened up career opportunities but I get to do lots of fun creative things and run projects.”
