Last month Vir2oso founder Tracey Mowatt created this amazing mural for the Priory Junior School fete. Tracey had been working on the project for several weeks in the run-up to the event, creating the outline of a mural. The idea was to create a giant colour by numbers. On the day of the fete with the help of Kevin from St Neots Town Council we put the 4ft by 16ft mural up on the Priory Juniors school field. The Vir2oso crew Emma, Amanda, Hayley, Lou and Tracey were set to go, nerves kicking in as we had never done anything quite so big before. The children came and coloured the mural in with great results. There was children of all ages helping; 2 year old being supported by older siblings to parents who just had to have a go. When we try out new ideas we have no idea how it will work out but the ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Mural’ for Priory Juniors was a great success. During the summer Tracey went up to the school and varnished the finished piece ready for the school to put it up in their garden area. Lets hope for years to come lots of children will enjoy the bright and awesome work that was done summer 2015.
